Color masterbatch is a plastic coloring agent composed of a high proportion of pigments or additives and thermoplastic resin, which are well dispersed. The selected resin has a good wetting and dispersing effect on the coloring agent, and has good compatibility with the colored material. Namely: pigment+carrier+additive=masterbatch.
It is a coloring agent, and different colored masterbatches are usually added as needed when producing thermoplastic products. The proportion of different materials and colors added varies, and as far as I know, it will not exceed 10%
What are the main uses of color masterbatch?
1) The coloring ability of titanium dioxide: determines the amount of titanium dioxide used for the same plastic product color;
2) The whiteness of titanium dioxide: determines the appearance of light colored (white) plastic products with the same titanium dioxide content;
3) The dispersibility of titanium dioxide: affects the production cost of color particles and the appearance, gloss, and other indicators of plastic products;
4) The processing performance of titanium dioxide: affects the production cost of color masterbatch.
5) The processing performance of titanium dioxide: strong processing ability.
